— Dr Meng Quah-Shepherd

We are passionate about creating a positive experience for your whole family. Our team is geared towards family preventative dentistry to ensure that you can smile continuously throughout your life.

Children’s Dentistry

Boutique Dental Care believes in starting excellent oral health care early in a patient’s life. Your child’s visit is special to us and together we can make sure your son or daughter grows up with strong, healthy teeth.

We recommend bringing your child for their first visit by the age of two, or when their very first tooth erupts. This way we can track your child’s dental development and identify any key issues before they become problematic. Your child’s primary teeth are vitally important for their dental development and the progression of their speaking and eating skills.

Preventative Dentistry

Preventative dentistry involves the maintenance of your teeth and mouth to prevent dental problems from occurring. Dr Meng Quah-Shepherd utilises the latest technology to prevent minor problems in teeth that could lead to greater problems such as severe tooth decay and tooth loss. Preventative care also involves the care and treatment of gums in order to enhance the prevention of gum disease.

Periodontal disease (gum disease), includes gingivitis and periodontitis. These are serious oral infections which if left untreated, can lead to tooth loss. Gum disease has also been linked to other conditions in the body which means it is even more important to have your smile assessed every 6 months. Dr Quah-Shepherd will ensure that your teeth are rehabilitated and any existing gum disease or other dental problems are managed as well.
